Welcome to the National Toy Train Museum

Information for Handicapped Visitors or Viewers with Images Turned Off

This is the web site of the National Toy Train Museum, with a world-class collection of toy trains for kids of all ages, which is also the headquarters of the Train Collectors Association, located at Strasburg, PA.

The Museum displays hundreds of toy trains in a modern, handicapped accessible building that looks like a historic train station. Its displays include electric trains, floor toys, and accessories from the mid-1800s to present. Brands include Lionel, American Flyer, Marx, Marklin, LGB and many others.

The museum is accessible for wheelchairs, and we would be pleased to assist visitors with special needs in any way possible. For further accommodation requests or information, please contact us by any of the means explained on our Contacts Page.

Five large train layouts are available to see, including: standard gauge, O, S, G, HO, plus Z.   You may run some trains yourself; friendly docents are available to explain.
